Our Story
Empowering self-driven travelers to explore the wonders of Sri Lanka from the best seat in the house—the driver's seat of a tuktuk.
Our Vision
To become the absolute standard for independent, sustainable, and immersive self-drive travel in South Asia. We envision a world where tourism acts as a direct link between travelers and local communities, creating shared economic value while preserving local environments.
Our Mission
To provide reliable, safe, and exciting self-drive tuktuk rentals backed by premium support. We take care of licensing, insurance, and technical maintenance so travelers can focus on the road, fostering sustainable travel and generating meaningful local employment.
The Journey of Get My Tuktuk
Scroll down to see how we grew from a small local idea to Sri Lanka's premier rental fleet.
The Spark of Adventure
We started in Colombo with just three tuktuks and a simple idea: travel should be active, self-driven, and deeply connected to local communities. We wanted to give travelers the keys to their own freedom.
Building the Ecosystem
To ensure safety and legitimacy, we partnered with the local driving authorities to establish the island's first licensing support school for foreigners, helping travelers legally drive tuktuks.
Going Green
In our bid to protect Sri Lanka's pristine ecosystems, we pioneered the integration of fully-electric tuktuks into our fleet, supporting carbon-neutral travels across the hill country and coastlines.
Sri Lanka's Premier Self-Drive Provider
Today, we operate a network of over 150+ premium tuktuks with comprehensive 24/7 roadside assistance, hotel delivery networks, and localized digital itineraries for seamless roadtrips.
